How Did the Gatorade Prop get started?

This is another fun and silly Super Bowl prop, but if there are still opportunities to turn a profit even after the game is over, we’re interested. So we went out and watched the ending of every single Super Bowl since New York Giants coach Bill Parcells was first doused back at Super Bowl XXI (that’s Super Bowl 21 for those who don’t understand Roman numerals, like me).

Not every Super Bowl winning coach gets this show of affection and celebration. But most do.
