Colts, Patriots, Bengals, Broncos AFC Odds Favorites
November 4, 2015
The Indianapolis Colts are two games under .500 on the year, but they’re still the clear betting favorites at the online sportsbooks on the odds to win the AFC South division title this season.
The Colts are the -300 favorites on the odds to win the AFC South division title despite a lacklustre 3-5 mark through their first eight games of the season – thanks in large part to their weak competition in the division race.
The Houston Texans are tied with the Colts at 3-5 on the season, while the Jacksonville Jaguars are 2-5, and the Tennessee Titans are 1-6 and just fired their head coach. Houston sits at +350 on the odds to win the AFC South title, with Jacksonville at +750, and Tennessee at +5000.
The other three divisions in the AFC are all led by unbeaten teams, including the AFC East where Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are 7-0 on the season and massive -20000 favorites on the betting futures at the sportsbooks to win yet another AFC East title this season.
The New York Jets, at +2500 to win the AFC East, are in second place in the division at 4-3, while the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins have both disappointed this season with 3-4 records through seven games. Buffalo and Miami are both listed at +3300 on the odds to win the AFC East title.
The Cincinnati Bengals are 7-0 on the season and the -5000 favorite on the odds to win the AFC North title heading into their Thursday Night Football game against the Cleveland Browns, who are tied for third place in the division with the Baltimore Ravens with a 2-6 record.
The Browns sit at +15000 on the odds to win the AFC North, with the Ravens just ahead of them on those futures at +10000. The Pittsburgh Steelers, in second place in the division with a record of 4-4, are also second at +1200 on the AFC North odds at the sportsbooks.
And the Denver Broncos, coming off a statement win over the Green Bay Packers last week, are 7-0 on the season atop the AFC West standings and the heavy -10000 favorite to win that division title this season.
The Oakland Raiders, surprisingly 4-3 through their first seven games of the season, are at +1000 on the AFC West division title odds, with the Kansas City Chiefs at +4000 and the San Diego Chargers at +10000. Kansas City has a 3-5 record on the season, while San Diego sits at 2-6.
