The Saints vs Rams betting public seem to be split down the middle, as wagering volumes are running about 50-50 ahead the NFC Championship game Sunday.

At home, the Saints are 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games. In the playoffs New Orleans have won seven straight at home, but they’re only 3-4 ATS in those wins. They have similar results as a playoff favorite with a 6-2 record SU and a 2-6 mark ATS in their last eight.
NFL bettors are concerned by the Saints 2-9 ATS record as a playoff favorite since 1980. But they have the feel-good factor of Drew Brees going back to the Super Bowl if they are looking to lean on the Saints to cover the spread here.
The Rams moved on last week by defeating the Dallas Cowboys 30-22 as a 7-point favorite. Los Angeles has now won three straight both SU and ATS, but they were only 4-4 ATS on the road this season.
This is the first time this season the Rams have been listed as the underdog. Entering the season Los Angeles was an awful 2-12 SU and 2-11-1 ATS in their last 14 games as the underdog. In the postseason the Rams are 3-6 SU and ATS in their last nine on the road, and as an underdog they’re 3-5 SU and ATS in their last eight.
The Rams and Saints met up in New Orleans in Week 9 and the Saints won 45-35 as a 2-point underdog. The last 30 matchups between the Rams and Saints are split evenly down the middle at 15-15 SU and ATS. However, in New Orleans the Saints have won thee straight against the Rams both SU and ATS.
In the last five NFC title games the home team is a perfect 5-0 SU. In the last six the favorite has gone 5-1 SU.
